Who's it for
Sometimes just journalling is not enough. Sometimes you need to practice in public. But you don't want to jeopardize your art. How do you find that balance? The balance between the art that makes your art, and the part that needs to go for the art to spread.
It's the responsibility of the artist to spread your art. Making it is not enough. Marketing is your responsibility.
What if marketing will change your art? What if people want something else?
Your choice what to leave out is part of the art. People will make it what it needs to be. Because what you made is a gift. It's made to be shared.
That's why you know who's it for. You decide who will change it to the extent you allow it to change.
That's where art lives. One doesn't go without the other.
